Leckey BeMe Seat Advanced
The BeMe Advanced is part of the BeMe family of three configurable supportive seats, designed to grow and adapt with every child throughout life. For children with more complex needs, it provides the highest level of postural management, offering precision support traditionally only achieved with moulded seating.
Ideal for children at GMFCS Level 5, the BeMe Advanced supports scoliotic or kyphotic postures, wind-sweeping, significant leg length discrepancies, and strong extension. It is suitable for children who would previously have required custom-moulded seating, offering advanced support while still allowing for future growth and adjustment.
Innovative 3D Back Support
The BeMe Advanced’s unique 3D backrest features three interlinked sections, each independently adjustable for height, angle, and depth. This innovative system accommodates non-correctable asymmetries such as scoliosis, kyphosis, or hyper-lordosis. Unlike fixed moulded systems, the 3D backrest grows and adapts over time, providing support for complex postures without the limitations of a custom-mould.
Split Seat Base
The multi-adjustable split seat base accommodates almost every lower limb asymmetry, including leg length differences and windswept postures. With up to 12cm of growth built in, thanks to patent-pending accordion foam and 4-way stretch fabric, the BeMe Advanced ensures continuous comfort and pressure relief. Carefully positioned pivot points allow synchronised movement of the child’s femurs and seat leg supports, even when accommodating asymmetry.
Dynamic Backrest
For children with high extensor tone or sensory regulation needs, the BeMe Advanced includes a dynamic backrest that moves with the child. Controlled with air pressure, the resistance and return speed can be adjusted to provide comfort and encourage self-regulation, while ensuring the chair remains supportive and safe.
The BeMe Advanced can be tailored with a wide range of accessories, including swing-away slimline laterals, adjustable headrests, ankle huggers, and positioning harnesses, ensuring each child’s seating system is truly individual.
